Chicago gangster accuses Harris, Democrats of fueling gang conflict, cites Venezuela's Tren de Aragua.
Tensions in Chicago are at an all-time high, according to Tyrone Muhammad, who spoke on 'Fox & Friends'.
A former Chicago gangster warned Americans about the "oxymoronic" crime policies of the Democrats, urging them to be afraid as tensions rise between Venezuelan and local gangs in the Windy City.
Tyrone Muhammad, founder of Ex-Cons for Community and Social Change, criticized Vice President Kamala Harris on "Fox & Friends" for changing her stance on crime, claiming that the Democrats' policies have caused Black America to turn against the Biden-Harris administration.
Lawrence Jones reported on Tuesday that a vice president who claims to specialize in capturing and detaining transnational gangs is a member of a party that supports policies such as sanctuary cities and a border crisis, which creates an irony.
"We must combat transnational gangs and the arrival of unknown men with a history of violence and crimes. Despite this, we remain vigilant in safeguarding our communities daily."
The New York Post reports that gangs on Chicago's South Side are facing a surge of Venezuelan migrants, including members of the Tren de Aragua gang.
The increase in crime in the city has been linked to the arrival of Venezuelan gangsters who are encroaching on the territory of the city's local gangs, locals told the Post.
"Zacc Massie, a local Chicago gang member, revealed to the New York Post that migrant gangs are operating in their territory and robbing people without being arrested, despite their involvement in criminal activities. He spoke to one of them through a translator app and learned about their various accomplishments, such as obtaining a car, an apartment, and an EBT card, all while receiving thousands of dollars in assistance. In contrast, gang members like himself only receive $400 a month and do not have Social Security numbers."
According to sources from local Chicago gangs, members of the Venezuelan gang are heavily armed and have started encroaching on areas traditionally controlled by local gangs, as reported by the New York Post.
"This is just the beginning because violence anywhere is violence everywhere," Muhammad said. "The policies that have affected our community and turned Black people against the current administration should make Americans afraid that this can happen in America's cities, one of the biggest cities in the country, that we can watch this happen all over the country and not be outraged."
Chicago has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to address the influx of migrants, as observed by Jones.
Muhammad contended that redirecting resources for illegal immigrants from communities that have been disinvested in is "asinine."
He argued that it was asinine for anyone to believe that a non-citizen should go before the Black community and the most impoverished communities, given that our government has consistently disinvested in these communities throughout America and Black voters in Chicago have consistently voted for one party.
The impending fear of increasing violence between transitional gangs and local gangs is a concern for residents, who already worry about crime.
The Chicago Police Department reports that from August 2022 to September 2024, there was a 12% increase in robbery, a 13% increase in aggravated battery, and a 43% increase in motor vehicle theft.
Over the past year, Chicago residents have expressed their dissatisfaction with Mayor Brandon Johnson and city officials for allocating taxpayer funds towards the expanding immigrant community.
"Pastor Corey Brooks, founder of Project H.O.O.D., stated during "Fox & Friends First" that we are already facing major crime, educational issues, and a high murder rate. Adding to these challenges are undocumented individuals and those released from prison entering our city. It is only a matter of time before things explode."
He stated that confrontations and issues are emerging on the South Side of Chicago, which will intensify over time.
As Election Day approaches, many voters desperate for change are likely to be driven to the polls by the surge in crime, warned Brooks.
""Crime, immigration, and the economy are the main concerns of voters in swing states like Pennsylvania and Michigan, where immigration has led to hardships in cities," Brooks stated."
He stated confidently that people would vote based on their immigration preferences.
