On their podcast "Brilliant Idiots," radio host Charlamagne tha God and comedian Andrew Schulz challenged several Democratic narratives on Saturday.

Charlamagne and Schulz began their show by discussing the debate surrounding who should be credited with securing the cease-fire agreement between Hamas and Israel, President-elect Donald Trump or President Joe Biden. The radio host refuted a claim made by his friend, Chris Morrow, that Biden was the one responsible for the agreement.

"Charlamagne stated that until Democrats like Chris have open and truthful discussions about their party and its actions, nothing will change. He referenced Trump's "hell to pay" message to Hamas regarding the release of Israeli hostages before his inauguration on January 20th. Charlamagne added that conversations began to pick up speed after Trump made that statement, with Israeli TV echoing the same sentiment."

This Wednesday, Israel and Hamas reached a cease-fire agreement, with Hamas releasing 33 hostages over six weeks in exchange for hundreds of Palestinians imprisoned by Israel.

Netanyahu commended Biden and Trump for their contributions to the negotiations and expressed gratitude for Biden's dedication. He also praised Trump's statement that Gaza should never again be a "safe haven for terrorism."

After witnessing viral videos of Obama and Trump conversing at Carter's funeral last week, Charlamagne voiced his disappointment with Democrats.

"Charlamagne stated that he is certain everyone witnessed the video of Barack Obama and Donald Trump being friendly, with Obama smiling. He then explained why he dislikes this, stating, "I've been alive for 46 years, and I have never heard people refer to a political opponent or compare them to Hitler. I have never heard them called a fascist.""

"Hitler's companions are socializing with him, and I don't understand why," Schulz said.

""My point is that if you're going to use that rhetoric, maintain the same energy," said Charlamagne."

Obama was criticized by Charlamagne for being friendly with Trump, with the host saying, "You labeled Trump as a threat to democracy. You made those statements. You're the last true leader of the Democratic Party. Tell me if that's good political optics. I said this last week, so why should I believe anything that comes out of Democrats' mouths?"

The radio host clarified that he never labeled Donald Trump as a fascist based solely on information he received from Democrats. Instead, he made the statement because of the things he heard come out of Trump's mouth. However, he admitted that he is unsure if he believes it anymore due to the way Democrats are acting. He added, "But only because of how they're acting. I'm like, well, God, maybe it ain't that much of a threat."

"Exactly, they lied to you," Schulz responded.
