Billy Ray Cyrus shares a heartfelt message about the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter.
The Christian holiday is highlighted by the country music star through quoting John 3:16 from the Bible.
On Easter Sunday, Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife Firerose Cyrus contemplate the essence of the holiday and reveal the motivation behind their new religious song "After the Storm."
During a Good Friday appearance on "Jesse Watters Primetime," the multi-platinum artist communicated his message.
Cyrus told Watters, "According to John 3:16, it is stated in the Bible."
"God's love for the world led Him to give up His only son, so that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life and avoid perishing."
Easter commemorates Jesus' victory over death and sin, with his crucifixion on Good Friday and resurrection on the third day, marking the event as the foundation of the Christian faith.
Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus have released a collaborative song, "After the Storm," that conveys the message of hope and faith in the face of life's difficulties.
Firerose Cyrus stated that music has always been an outlet for her emotions and that she tries to convey that through her songs.
She stated: "We can connect with others on a deeper level, as God connects with us, and we can spread His light and love through the power of music."
On National Vietnam War Veterans Day on March 29, Billy Ray Cyrus prayed for "blessings on our country" and expressed his gratitude for the service men and women who served in the war.
He thanked everyone for their service and dedication to our country and freedom.
