Billionaire right advocates for an "apartheid" state in post-wildfire California, claims Joy Reid.
Vulture capitalists are targeting California during the wildfires, according to Reid.
On Monday, Joy Reid of MSNBC asserted that the "billionaire right" seeks to expel non-White individuals from California in order to establish an "apartheid" state.
During her opening monologue, "The Reid Out" host made outrageous claims about the wildfires in California that have killed at least 24 people and burned over 40,000 acres of land.
Vulture capitalists" were accused by Reid of buying up properties in middle-class communities, such as Altadena, which were destroyed by fires, for "pennies on the dollar" with the intention of remaking California with their "ugly right-wing policies.
The MSNBC host expressed concern that if the Brown, Black, and Asian people are driven out or sunk into apartheid, they will still control enough electoral votes to maintain control and never have to worry about another presidential election, even if they lose California.
The Eaton Fire forced thousands to flee Altadena, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. A Planet Chronicle Digital tour of the evacuation area revealed little left in the town, with its homes, businesses, and cars largely burnt to the ground.
Reid stated that Republicans are attacking the state's DEI initiatives, such as cutting the LA fire department budget by $17.6 million while investing heavily in programs like syringe exchanges for the homeless, in order to hide their true goal of turning California into a state where immigrants, pregnant women, victimized girls, and LGBTQ+ individuals live in fear.
Reid warned that they can drill and frack California until the fires this past week pale in comparison, and they can rip out all the forests and hand over the land to developers, Florida-style.
The billionaire knows they cannot take California, which is home to Hollywood, San Francisco, and Kendrick Lamar, through culture. Therefore, they are attempting to take it through lies, deceit, and fire.
Last week, Reid stated that Trump's return to power was the most violent in U.S. history, asserting that after winning the 2024 election, it was impossible to peacefully transfer power to an insurrectionist who took four more years to complete their task.
