Biden's Record Will Endure, Says Former Clinton Advisor
According to a recent Planet Chronicle poll, Biden's current approval rating stands at 41%.
On Sunday, Karen Finney, a former Hillary Clinton adviser and CNN contributor, stated that President Biden's record will endure as he departs from office.
"Finney stated on CNN's "State of the Union" that he believes in the long run, we will recall this president and vice president as those who helped us recover from the brink of COVID-19, when daily deaths reached hundreds of thousands. At home, companies and small businesses were collapsing, but he facilitated the distribution of vaccines, enabled us to leave our homes, return to work, and invested in our country."
She added, "I believe that one of the things he will do with the remaining time is invest more in the Chips and Science Act. This will have a transformative impact on communities across the country. While Donald Trump may take credit for it, Joe Biden's record of accomplishments will endure.
Although some critics, including Scott Jennings, have criticized the administration for not disclosing Biden's mental state, Finney dismissed it in favor of focusing on Biden's foreign policy.
"It was very unsettling to discover at the end of the year how poor his health had become. Many, including myself, were unaware of the extent of his decline," Finney stated. "Despite this, he managed to fulfill his duties and achieve some notable accomplishments, particularly in the Middle East and foreign policy. I believe these achievements will endure."
Biden got "a number of hostages" home from the Middle East, which Jennings disputed, particularly her argument about it.
"Jennings stated, "I believe he will depart his office in shame due to the disgraceful Hunter Biden pardon. He will mainly be remembered for the inflation crisis and the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. However, we are only at the beginning of this story.""
The massive cover-up that went on, not about his health, but about his mental acuity to cover it up, is a really ugly chapter in the presidency. The efforts that were undertaken by the White House staff and his family, not just in the last couple of months, but for all four years, have diminished his presidency.
According to a Planet Chronicle poll, Biden had a 41% approval rating before leaving office, and just 7% of respondents considered him to be one of the greatest presidents.
In a Marquette Law School national poll conducted Dec. 2-11, Biden's ratings stood at only 34% approval, which is the lowest approval rating he has had since he took office.
