At the Reagan forum, defense experts are meeting while Palantir's CEO warns the US is facing a 'legitimation crisis'.
The CEO of Palantir is currently participating in a panel discussion at the Reagan National Defense Forum, which is currently being broadcast on Fox Nation.
On Saturday, industry leaders and politicians convened at the 2024 Reagan National Defense Forum to discuss global threats and the U.S. national defense during a period of transition.
The incoming Trump administration has a "massive mandate" to address the "legitimation crisis" that the U.S. faces as a key stakeholder, warned Palantir CEO Dr. Alex Karp.
During a panel at the Reagan National Defense Forum, Dr. Karp stated that our country is facing a legitimation crisis, as moderated by CNN's Abby Phillip.
"No expert in this country has stated anything that the American people would unanimously believe to be true."
At the Reagan National Defense Forum, accessible through Fox Nation, Dr. Karp contended that the country has approximately six months to resolve the crisis.
"The CEO stated that the only solution to a legitimacy crisis is measurement, and that is the current state of affairs in the country. Any other solution is merely a platitude. The CEO emphasized that people are not listening to experts and believe they have an agenda. Analysts on Wall Street are a prime example of this, as their methodology is solely to determine if they like someone."
Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which Dr. Karp considers a "crucial" element in restoring legitimacy and addressing foreign threats.
"To determine the significance of the DOGE, we must assess how it is being utilized. What is the resulting output? Is the input less than the output? After that, we must clarify the output's meaning."
The incoming Trump administration can restore America's standing on the world stage by addressing the country's "legitimation crisis," he said.
Dr. Karp stated that the U.S.'s foreign adversaries need to be scared by standing up.
"We cannot have parity because our adversaries lack our moral compass if it's even. They will exploit our kindness, compassion, and desire to live in peaceful environments. We must be scared and fearful to defeat them."
Dr. Karp, the founder of a company that provides software for the military, highlighted his mission to enhance the well-being of American soldiers and instill fear in the nation's adversaries.
"The soldiers are happier, the enemies are scared, and Americans will once again revel in our dominance in technology, with us emerging victorious in all aspects."
