At a White House event, President Biden remained silent for a minute while ignoring the press's shouting of questions.
Journalists were heard asking about a cease-fire, IVF, and high grocery prices.
On Tuesday, President Biden boasted about his accomplishments, but he refused to answer reporters' inquiries, only smiling.
During a rare public appearance, Biden discussed his "Investing in America" agenda at a White House event after stepping down as the Democratic Party nominee for vice president.
""The economy has recovered from the COVID crisis and is now thriving, with record-breaking job growth, small business expansion, stock market gains, and rising 401(k)s. Wages are increasing, inflation is decreasing, and the racial wealth gap is narrowing," he stated."
As Biden finished his speech, reporters bombarded him with questions for 60 seconds while he remained calm and collected, gathering his belongings before being escorted out of the room.
Journalists were inquiring about critical topics, including ending the Israel-Hamas conflict, providing free IVF treatment, and reducing high grocery prices, as they were escorted out, saying, "Thank you, media."
"Biden is fully cooked and spends a minute ignoring questions while his handlers desperately try to remove him from the room," the Trump War Room account wrote. "Warning: This is painful to watch."
The New York Times is among the news outlets that have criticized the president for not conducting direct interviews with the media.
"The Times stated in April that it is concerning that President Biden has evaded questions from independent journalists during his presidency. As the leader of the country, the president holds the most significant position, and the press is crucial in offering insights into his thoughts and worldview, enabling the public to evaluate his performance and hold him accountable."
While Biden has the right to avoid the New York Times, he must communicate with major news outlets in principle.
"In meetings with Vice President Harris and other administration officials, The Times publisher emphasized a higher principle: Avoiding interviews and questions from major news organizations not only undermines an important norm but also sets a dangerous precedent for future presidents to evade scrutiny and accountability."
