Amid California's wildfires, a pastor offers hope: "We believe in a God of Resurrection."

Despite the difficult circumstances faced by people in California due to the wildfires, a pastor from the state says he wants to bring "hope" to his community.

In the aftermath of devastating wildfires that have burned through 27,000 acres of land around Los Angeles, at least ten people are suspected to have died. Amidst the despair, churches are coming together to provide hope and support to those affected by the fires.

""Our church building burned down, but our goal is to continue being the church beyond those walls. We want to be with people and give them the hope we have in Christ," said Expressions Church Pastor Christopher Spolar on "Special Report" on Friday."

Spolar emphasized the importance of meeting people where they are, in their struggles, in order to help them navigate the long road ahead in California.

"The pastor stated, "Our initial approach is to remain silent and meet people where they are. There isn't much to say when people have lost everything. We have someone in our church who managed to escape with only what they could carry on their back, which resulted in a great deal of grief and shock. Therefore, our first priority is to sit with people, pray with them, and remind them that we believe in a God of resurrection.""

Spolar reflected on the unity among churches and pastors, stating, "It's been really beautiful to see that we are one church despite our differences."
