After the Trump-Harris debate, Bill Maher makes a daring 2024 prediction.

Bill Maher, the host of "Real Time," made a prediction about the winner of the 2024 election based on the first presidential debate between former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

"Maher began his panel discussion Friday night by stating that he would make the night significant with a prediction. He had the credibility for this prediction because he had been labeled a "Trump alarmist" for a long time, but they were wrong, and he was right - Trump would not leave power. Since then, and particularly after the Access Hollywood tape, Trump has continued to do crazy things and get into trouble, but Maher has always maintained that it's not over."

Maher declared, "I think it's over," to his liberal audience, eliciting cheers.

In the early 50s, there was a man named Joe McCarthy who had a significant impact on America. He was extremely popular for a few years, but eventually, his influence faded. Now, it feels like we're at a point where we're willing to do anything to survive, including eating dogs.

Maher was told by GOP pollster Kristen Soltis Anderson that she did not share his confidence.

"Although people believe that polls are not very accurate, the truth is that people have known Donald Trump for a long time. When asked if they need to know more about the candidates, only a small percentage of voters say they do about Trump, while a larger percentage say they need to know more about Kamala Harris. Despite this, Trump remains competitive and is still hanging in there in battleground states."

"As always, it will be tight on Election Day, with the polls being close. My prediction is that he will lose. We'll see," Maher reiterated.

Anderson accused Harris of being a "blank slate" to most voters and claimed that progressives were enabling her to present herself as an "RNC 2004 keynote speaker" due to her debate comments about owning a gun and her endorsement from former Vice President Dick Cheney.

"Maher stated, "I disagree with your evaluation. In my opinion, what she's saying now doesn't make her conservative. Instead, it demonstrates how much we've progressed. She was much more left-wing in 2019, but in 2020, she was extremely liberal, known as 'woke.' Although some people dislike the term, that's where she was. Now, I believe she's more centrist. I don't think we should demean fracking in this way. Our goal is to improve the environment, so we should focus on that.""

Although Maher believed that Harris had successfully shifted her political stance, Soltis Anderson maintained that she still faced challenges.

"The pollster stated that the issue he believes the candidate faces is that she has undergone numerous changes in her past positions, which has caused her to appear inconsistent. He added that during the debate, the candidate was not pressed hard enough on the reasons behind her conversion, and the new position is popular in Pennsylvania."
