After the debate, CNN host acknowledges that there is still confusion about Harris' policies.
CNN host Sara Sidner stated that the issue that frequently arises is that individuals are unaware of the specifics of her policies.
What does Vice President Kamala Harris need to do to clarify her actual policies to those who are still confused about them, as CNN host Sara Sidner recently pondered?
In a recent CNN News Central segment, Sidner questioned Politico National Political Correspondent Meredith McGraw about how Harris can effectively introduce herself to voters, given that ongoing polling indicates that Americans are unsure of what she brings to the table as a presidential candidate.
The host remarked to McGraw that the issue that frequently arises in voting is that individuals are not well-informed about her policies.
Although many mainstream media pundits and voters believed that Harris won the presidential debate with Trump on Monday night, the evening did not fully clarify her stance on issues.
Does Kamala Harris need to clarify her policies to the public more, as seen in the race?
The Politico reporter concurred, stating that one of the major concerns of voters remains, "where are the policies?"
The reporter inquired about the policies of the Democratic candidate, how she plans to distinguish herself from President Biden, and who Kamala Harris is, addressing the questions that Americans have about the candidate.
The reporter stated that Trump has an advantage in this area because many voters are already familiar with him, while the Harris campaign aims to introduce herself to the public and clarify her story.
McGraw stated that while she saw her opponent discussing her upbringing during the debate, it wasn't enough to inform voters about her true agenda.
"To effectively communicate her policy points to voters, the Harris campaign must articulate them more clearly, as she increases her campaign trail interviews, which she hasn't done much of in recent weeks."
Since being endorsed by President Biden as his replacement on the presidential ticket, Harris has faced criticism for not participating in formal press conferences and sit-down interviews during her campaign.
The Harris-Walz campaign has conducted 49 interviews, while the Democratic presidential ticket has only had 10 non-scripted interviews.
McGraw informed Sidner that Harris plans to intensify her efforts to address voters' concerns about her identity and policies until November.
