A Wisconsin metal art company that "pursued the American dream" has unveiled the 2024 Fox Nation Patriot Awards trophies.
The 2024 Patriot Awards will be streamed on FOX Nation starting at 8 p.m. EST on December 5th.
The intricately folded Old Glory, the New York City skyline, the colors of red, white and blue, and the 9/11 steel donated by the Tunnel to Towers foundation are all emblematic of the American spirit's boldness, tenacity, patriotism, and strength.
This father-son duo is not only a reflection of their shared hobby but also a fulfillment of their mutual dream.
The Fox Nation Patriot Awards this year will feature a handheld trophy featuring Shane & Justis Henderson's work, which is fashioned like an American flag and adorned with accents that each have their own meaning.
In 2022, the Metal Art of Wisconsin founders were honored to design the awards given to Patriot Award recipients, and they are returning this year with the same exceptional craftsmanship.
""I thought our 2022 work was exceptional, and we believed it would be challenging to surpass it," Shane Henderson stated."
This week, FOX Business' "Varney & Co." welcomed Henderson to showcase the 2024 pieces before the ceremony.
This year's event honors New York's iconic bridges with a 1.5-inch thick piece of hard maple adorned with copper rivets. A commemorative stripe of hand-forged 9/11 steel donated by Tunnel to Towers runs through the middle of the trophy, while the backplate showcases the unique New York City skyline. The event is taking place in the Empire State.
The dye is fully saturated through the piece by a vacuum.
Jeff O'Connor, a wounded combat veteran from Virginia, created this for us, as explained by Henderson.
"The dye is absorbed into the wood, resulting in a blue color."
The Hendersons view the statues as a pathway to the American Dream, despite their significance to others.
In 2013, when my son was ten, we created a flag and posted it on Instagram. It quickly went viral, becoming a massive hit. At the time, we were just two people with full-time jobs, chasing the American dream. Now, eleven years later, we're a thriving company with a strong focus on patriotism. We've shipped over 60,000 products, all of which revolve around flags. Our latest invention is a refrigerated flag called the Chill Daddy, a 4-foot flag that folds down and has a refrigerator compressor built in.
This Thursday, the Tilles Center Concert Hall in New York will host an event to pay tribute to America's patriots, including military veterans, first responders, and other everyday heroes.
The sixth annual event, hosted by Planet Chronicle host Sean Hannity, will be streamed live on FOX Nation starting at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday, Dec. 8, with a repeat airing on the Planet Chronicle Channel at 10 p.m. EST.
On Tuesday, Hannity revealed that President-elect Trump will attend the ceremony to receive this year's Patriot of the Year award.
Planet Chronicle' Ashley Carnahan contributed to this report.
