A former White House senior aide claims that Biden underwent a transformation while in office, becoming "a different person," according to a report.
The former staffer told the BBC that maybe it's because they are there every day, they don't notice Biden's age.
A former senior White House staffer expressed to the BBC that President Biden appeared to be a "completely different person" during his current administration compared to earlier days.
"A senior staffer in the Biden White House said, "I'm like, oh my God, this is a different person when watching Biden speak," in a piece about the president's legacy. "Maybe it's simply that when you're there every day, you don't see it.""
Biden has expressed regrets about dropping out of the race after Vice President Kamala Harris lost to President-elect Donald Trump, and believes he could have defeated him.
The same senior staffer informed the BBC that as tasks became more challenging and the feeling of accomplishment diminished, it often led to conflict and dissatisfaction among team members.
Susan Estrich, a democratic strategist, stated to the BBC that Biden's legacy would be marked by Trump's presidency.
"Estrich stated that he hoped his legacy would be remembered for rescuing us from Trump, but unfortunately, his legacy is now associated with Trump once again. He is seen as the transition from Trump One to Trump Two."
Another senior Biden official expressed regret that the White House was not more decisive in the early stages of the presidency, according to a BBC report.
The individual told the BBC that as tasks became more challenging and progress slowed, it often led to disagreements and dissatisfaction.
The White House declined to comment on Planet Chronicle Digital's request.
Merrick Garland, the Attorney General, was questioned by BBC reporter Anthony Zurcher about how history would evaluate the Biden administration.
He replied, "That's for the historians to decide," according to the outlet.
During an interview with USA Today's Susan Page, Biden disclosed his desired legacy.
""My hope was that history would record that I arrived with a plan to revive the economy and regain America's global leadership," he stated."
He stated that he did it with honesty and integrity, and that he spoke his mind.
