'Biden-Harris 'failed record': Comer announces comprehensive hearing investigation'
The House Oversight Committee will scrutinize the Biden-Harris administration's performance next week.
The House Oversight Committee is set to hold a hearing next week that will focus on the impact of Biden-Harris administration policies on American citizens, according to Planet Chronicle Digital's exclusive report.
The hearing, "A Legacy of Incompetence: Consequences of the Biden-Harris Administration’s Policy Failures," is being scheduled by Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., for Thursday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m. ET.
On Thursday, President Biden and Vice President Harris were accused by Comer of causing "skyrocketing inflation, the worst border crisis in American history, high energy prices, chaos around the world, and rampant waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement at federal agencies," in a statement to Planet Chronicle Digital.
Comer stated that everything that President Biden and Vice President Harris come into contact with fails.
"The upcoming hearing will scrutinize the Biden-Harris Administration's unsuccessful track record and explore ways to mitigate the harm inflicted by this Administration."
Since her nomination as the Democrats' 2024 presidential candidate, replacing Biden, House Republicans have intensified their examination of Harris.
Republicans have also used Harris' past efforts to position herself as a key player in the White House's most crucial decisions. Trump and his GOP allies contend that a Harris administration would be an extension of Biden's progressive policies.
The House has conducted several hearings on Harris' management of the border crisis and her position as the Biden administration's "border czar" responsible for addressing the underlying reasons for mass migration from Central and South America.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz's ties with China have been scrutinized by Comer.
The House Oversight Committee hearing next week will feature testimony from FCC member Brendan Carr, Center for Immigration Studies Executive Director Mark Krikorian, Meaghan Mobbs of the Independent Women’s Forum, and former EPA official Mandy Gunasekera.
