A legal expert claims that Biden "lowered the bar" by granting a political favor to Trump through the pardon of his son, Hunter.
Kerri Urbahn stated that Biden's decision to open the door for Trump to preemptively pardon himself.
President-elect Trump's legal team is thrilled with the news that President Biden has decided to pardon his son, Hunter, after previously stating he would not.
Urbahn revealed that Trump's decision to run for president in 2022 could provide him with political cover for his own pardons, including those related to January 6th and a potential preemptive pardon for himself.

On Sunday, President-elect Trump responded to President Biden's unexpected decision to grant a pardon to his son Hunter.
Biden's decision to pardon Jan. 6 protesters, which he previously stated he would not do, has sparked controversy. Trump suggested in a Truth Social post on Sunday night that Biden should have pardoned them.
"Did Joe's pardon for Hunter cover the J-6 Hostages, who have been imprisoned for years?" Trump exclaimed, "Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!"
On Sunday, Biden accused Republicans of treating Hunter unfairly and claimed that he was treated differently by prosecutors.
In January 2014, Hunter Biden was convicted of three felony firearm offenses in a Delaware trial and pleaded guilty to multiple felony tax offenses in September. On Monday, Biden announced that he would be granting his son a full pardon for these crimes.
