An undercover cop in Florida busted a man trying to buy crack on Craigslist.
Anthony Mata was accused of buying methamphetamine and illegally using a two-way communication device.
An undercover investigator responded to a Craigslist post from a Florida man seeking crack, resulting in his arrest.
According to Fox 13, the Holmes County Sheriff's Office stated that the suspect, Anthony Mata, wrote in his post: "New to the area, searching for ice or crack."
An undercover investigator, posing as a seller of the substance, replied to the ad and arranged a meeting with Mata.
Mata agreed to buy eight balls of methamphetamine for $80.
After finalizing the deal, the investigator met Mata at an agreed-upon location.
When Mata exchanged money for drugs with the suspect and undercover investigator, more deputies arrived and arrested him.
Mata was accused of buying methamphetamine and using a two-way communication device illegally.
Stephen Hornsby, his companion, was also arrested for being a principal to the purchase of methamphetamine.
