A 19-year-old man is being sought in Texas after being accused of killing a 70-year-old man in a carjacking incident that occurred in Georgia.
In Harris County, Texas, there are active warrants for the arrest of Jaylen Mosley, who is 19 years old.
An official statement revealed that a man wanted in Texas was arrested for his involvement in a carjacking and the murder of a 70-year-old man in Georgia.
An elderly man was shot and killed by Jaylen Mosley, 19, in Harris County, Texas, on Saturday night while he tried to steal the man's car, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.
The victim was found in the commercial area of the 2100 block of Metropolitan Parkway at 6:40 p.m. by the Atlanta Police.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital but ultimately passed away from his injuries.
Police arrested Mosley shortly after the alleged attack.
In Georgia, Mosley was accused of murder, aggravated assault, possessing a firearm while committing a felony, armed robbery, and hijacking a vehicle after the incident.
The suspect remains in custody at the Fulton County Jail.
