Expert warns that admitting Gazans to the US could backfire due to Hamas' influence.
Anti-Israel protests on campus were discussed by Gazans in relation to the Biden immigration plan.
Experts are warning about the potential for terrorism and failed assimilation as the White House considers resettling Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to the United States.
The White House is regularly assessing policy suggestions to enhance support for Palestinian relatives of American citizens seeking to enter the United States, as announced by press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre in May.
Nearly 1,200 people, including over 30 Americans, were murdered by Hamas when they invaded Israel on Oct. 7. Video footage shows Gazans celebrating Hamas terrorists as they returned with over 250 kidnapped people from southern Israel. Palestinian civilians, according to the footage, desecrated the bodies of dead Israelis and Europeans.
Since 2007, the people of Gaza Strip have been exposed to the ideology of Hamas, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization, which has instilled a dangerous mix of antisemitic, anti-Christian, and anti-American thinking among the over 2 million Gazans.
Pinhas Inbari, a seasoned Arab affairs analyst and reporter in Israel with over 14 years of experience covering the West Bank and Gaza, stated to Fox New Digital that the fundamental issue is whether all of Gaza is affiliated with Hamas or if there is a distinction between Hamas and the residents of Gaza, as President Biden is attempting to persuade us.
"While I cannot claim that all Gazans are Hamas, you can assert that they are influenced by Hamas's ideology. Muslims in Gaza are indoctrinated with Islam and jihad. It is not possible to simply transplant them to the U.S. and expect them to function as they are now. Biden must visit Europe to gain a better understanding of the situation."
In Hamburg, Germany, over 1,000 radical Islamists marched in late April, declaring that "Caliphate is the solution." Inbari, who is fluent in Arabic, pointed out that a Caliphate is an Islamic state where Sharia law is the law of the land.
"It will take years of education to teach them not to be jihadi Muslims," he said.
Biden's plan was compared to bringing al-Qaeda to the U.S. as they are educated to hate America and Christians. They believe that if they hate Jews, they will not hate Christians. However, this is a misconception as al-Qaeda hates Christians before Jews.
Some Palestinians in Gaza recently discussed both Biden's immigration plan and the pro-Hamas protests on college campuses.
Gazans discussing immigration and anti-Israel protests on U.S. campuses were captured on video by Israel's TPS-IL news agency.
An elderly Palestinian man stated that everything taking place is in accordance with Israel's plan. Despite attacking Gaza with their full military force, they accomplished nothing. However, they are now developing a new strategy. They assert that their intentions are genuine and that they aim to alleviate the difficulties faced by the people of Gaza.
"The core plan of America and the occupation is to force us to emigrate. However, I will not emigrate, even if the entire universe demands it."
Israel and the United States do not want Palestinians to immigrate. Israel left Gaza in 2005, and the Palestinian militant group took control in 2007.
In the TPS video clip, a young man expresses his desire to move.
"Why remain? No one will remain. Everything is ruined. Why remain?" he said.
Although I am a 55-year-old man and not interested in emigrating, I will advise my children to go.
One Palestinian man vehemently opposes immigration.
"Who is emigrating? God forbid," he said. "Anyone who emigrates lacks love of country, religion, and belief. This person has no loyalty to Gaza or to Palestine."
A Palestinian woman who spoke at pro-Hamas protests on American college campuses stated that she believes Hamas supports the protests in the USA and thanked the students for standing with the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian man stated, "Hamas should support these college students because they are likely to be loyal supporters."
"Over 1,800 eligible individuals from Gaza have received support from the United States, including U.S. citizens, LPRs, and their families, many of whom have come to the United States. This support also includes particularly vulnerable individuals such as children with serious health conditions, often a result of the war, who require acute or specialized care in the United States or in the region, as stated by a U.S. State Department spokesperson to Planet Chronicle Digital."
The State Department spokesperson made clear all will be carefully checked.
"The spokesperson stated that individuals from Gaza who travel to the United States undergo thorough vetting to ensure the safety and security of American people. The United States has consistently rejected any actions that lead to the forced relocation of Palestinians from Gaza or the West Bank or the redrawing of Gaza's borders."
Hayvi Bouzo, a Syrian-American journalist and Middle East expert, evaluated the interviews on TPS-IL.
The Biden administration's immigration policies and open border approach have been problematic due to inadequate vetting for legal immigrants, according to Bouzo, who spoke to Planet Chronicle Digital. In Gaza, Hamas has controlled the content of textbooks, media, and mosque khutbahs (sermons) for nearly two decades.
The Biden administration has not effectively implemented thorough vetting to identify potential national security threats in Gaza, where most people working have had to affiliate with Hamas or other radical groups to find employment, making it difficult to identify those deeply involved with Hamas' terrorist activities.
The administration's efforts to evacuate civilians from conflict zones in Gaza, which is traditionally, internationally praised as a humanitarian effort to save lives, are perceived by many Palestinians and Arabs as a ‘conspiracy’ to force Palestinians from their homes. In my opinion, the Biden administration's policies have not earned gratitude from any party involved and are not particularly perceived as helpful to the Palestinians in Gaza, coming with a national security risk.
"While Egypt welcomes Gazan refugees, the U.S. should provide aid, shelter, food, and medicine until it's safe for them to return home."
A survey conducted in December found that 57% of Palestinians in Gaza and 82% of those in the West Bank (referred to as Judea and Samaria in Israel) support Hamas's terrorism attack on October 7.
If the United Arab Emirates, which has diplomatic relations with Israel, takes responsibility for the rebuilding of Gaza, the Emirates "will bring a positive Islam" to the enclave, according to Inbari, an expert on Palestinian society.
There is a possibility that Gazans will realize they were indoctrinated by Hamas, just as Syrians did when they were brainwashed by Assad.
The Baath Party, led by Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, has spent more than 50 years instilling hatred towards Israel, Jews, and the United States among Syrians. Following Assad's crackdown on Sunni Syrians protesting against his regime in 2011, many Syrians came to realize that Assad had been manipulating them.
