Devious paraglider terrorism attack plan exposed in Hamas document
The Oct 7 massacre against Israel involved the use of paragliders.
The Hamas terrorist movement's use of paragliders in the mass murder of nearly 1,200 people, including over 30 Americans, in southern Israel on Oct. 7 was part of a meticulously planned attack, as revealed by Planet Chronicle Digital for the first time.
The IDF obtained a Hamas military plan in the Gaza Strip, which shows the extent to which the Iranian-backed terrorist organization deceived the world about its use of an aerial sports device.
The Hamas document, originally written in Arabic and translated into English, reveals how the terrorist organization planned to use its wider use of paragliders for military purposes. Specifically, the document suggests that paragliders should be motorized and that they can be used for silent infiltration across the border, landing behind enemy lines.
Military experiments and training can be concealed through silent launch positions. Dual use of military experiments as civilian experiments can help reduce costs. Utilizing civilian activity in other sports can benefit military activities. Foreign information obtained through civilian activities can provide benefits to the military.
Over 300 attendees were killed at the Supernova music festival in Kibbutz Re’im when terrorists arrived on paragliders and began the attack.
The Hamas document outlines its vision of establishing a military and civilian aviation force to support its liberation project. However, the occupation is actively working to prevent this force from being established and is fighting against it with all means. One solution proposed by the document is to expose this pattern and integrate it into society in a way that prevents the enemy from ending it. The document aims to create a reality that forces the enemy to accept this force in some form.
The Hamas plan of action for mainstreaming paragliding in Gaza included conducting personal civilian experiments with paragliders, publishing them on social networks and in the global press, attracting adventurous young people to engage in the sport, establishing a special club for this sport in the Strip, encouraging competition to spread the sport more widely, creating groups and pages on social networks to showcase the beauty and fundamentals of this sport, and having the Ministry of Youth and Sports support the sport. Additionally, the sport should be connected to the global paragliding association, FAI.
In 1987, a Palestinian terrorist used a paraglider in a devastating attack in Beit Hillel base in north Lebanon, killing 6 soldiers and injuring 10. Despite dealing with this threat for years, Hezbollah still has the capabilities to carry out such attacks. However, today, the IDF has much more advanced capabilities to detect and destroy this kind of threat.

In October, Israeli fighter jets bombed a Hamas paraglider depot in Rafah, which had significant weight for Israel because the image of Hamas terrorists on paragliders was used as a symbol on clothing and posters among pro-Hamas supporters worldwide. Neo-Nazis and the Black Lives Matter chapter in Chicago have praised the Hamas paraglider terror attack. Additionally, a New York City public school teacher, Mohammad Jehad Ahmad, displayed the same Hamas paraglider image on his Facebook page.
In November, Emory University reportedly dismissed Dr. Abeer AbouYabis, an assistant professor at Emory School of Medicine and a staff member at Winship Cancer Institute, due to his public support for Hamas' aerial attack on Israel.
AbouYabis wrote, "Palestine is our demand / No peace on stolen land / We will pay for Israel's crimes / Not another nickel not another dime."
