Upon their arrival at the crash site, police reported discovering a 55-year-old man, who appeared to have sustained stab wounds, fleeing the scene.
Authorities took him into custody and used a Taser during the arrest.
During the interaction, a male police officer sustained a "serious" laceration to his left wrist, according to authorities.
The woman in the crashed vehicle was discovered with multiple stab wounds, according to police.
An additional individual sustained injuries, and the police couldn't determine their role in the incident.
All four people were treated by paramedics at the scene.
