Officials announced on Tuesday that two American prisoners were released in a prisoner swap between the U.S. and Afghanistan's Taliban, in exchange for a Taliban figure who was sentenced to life in prison in California.
Ryan Corbett, an American who was freed by the Taliban in a deal, is finally returning home to the U.S. after being detained for more than two years while on a business trip.
Ryan's family expressed their deepest gratitude and praise to God for keeping him alive and bringing him back home after 894 challenging and uncertain days.
