Trump to hold 'victory rally' in nation's capital on eve of inauguration.
On January 20th, Trump will be inaugurated for a second term at the U.S. Capitol.
According to a sign-up page on his inaugural website, President-elect Donald Trump intends to hold a "victory rally" the day before he is sworn in for a second term in the White House.
On January 19, at 3 p.m. EST, the Capitol One Arena in downtown Washington, D.C. will host an event featuring Trump, who will be the headliner. This event takes place one day before his inauguration.
The arena, where both the Washington Capitals of professional hockey and the Washington Wizards of professional basketball play, has a capacity of approximately 20,000 people.
Since his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in November's presidential election, the first organized rally by Trump and his team will take place.
On December 22, 2021, Trump delivered a speech to a large crowd of conservative supporters at a rally hosted by Turning Point USA in Arizona.
The sign-up page on the inauguration website states that attendees can only register for a maximum of two tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
Word of the inauguration eve rally was first reported by CBS News.
