Trump states that Biden had the right to run, but the Democratic Party allegedly took it away.
On Thursday, Trump conducted a prolonged press conference at Mar-a-Lago while Harris evades the media.
President Trump stated that President Biden had the right to run for re-election, but the Democratic Party took it away from him. He also criticized Vice President Kamala Harris as the least admired, least respected, and worst vice president in the history of our country.
Trump held a press conference at Mar-a-Lago Thursday afternoon after meeting with major media outlets. The Trump campaign stated that the Republican presidential nominee wanted to address the media because he is the most transparent candidate in history.
Trump declared on Thursday that the U.S. is currently facing the most perilous time he has ever experienced for our country.
"Trump stated that there is a candidate who has not received any votes for president, and she is running, which is acceptable to him. However, he believes that he would prefer to run against someone else, but that was their decision."
Trump characterized Harris as a "radical left person" and Walz as a "radical left man with unbelievable positions."
"Trump stated, "He's deeply involved in the transgender community and various safety-related fields. He opposes borders, walls, and any form of national security for our country. He welcomes prisoners and doesn't care about their backgrounds.""
This week, the Democratic National Committee formally nominated Kamala Harris as their presidential nominee.
"The presidency was taken away from Joe Biden, and I’m not a fan of his," Trump stated. "From a constitutional standpoint, it's clear that they took the presidency away, and people are saying he lost after the debate and couldn't win."
Trump continued, "Regardless of whether he could win or not, when he had the opportunity to run, and they took it away, and they claimed they would use the 25th amendment."
Trump stated that the pressure from within the Democratic Party and "what they've done" is "pretty incredible."
""Now we're leading, and I'm not complaining. However, for a country that values its Constitution, to have done it this way is quite severe and horrific," he said."
Trump believed that Democrats would have held an election or implemented a primary system.
"Trump remarked that Biden is "a very angry man right now" and questioned whether it was necessary to remove the presidency from him as if he were a child."
"Trump stated that the individual is unhappy with Obama and Nancy Pelosi, and also expressed dissatisfaction with those who advised him to leave. He is extremely unhappy and angry, according to Trump."
Trump said he thinks Biden "also blames" Harris.
"Trump stated that although the individual is attempting to present a positive image, it is detrimental to the country when this is done. Despite not being a supporter of the individual and their rough debate performance, Trump emphasized that it is not appropriate to simply remove the situation in its entirety."
Trump stated: "When you cast your vote, you accomplish something - he received 14 million votes, while she had none."
"And she’s crashing," Trump said.
Trump stated that Harris is the least admired, least respected, and worst vice president in the history of our country, and also the most unpopular.
For 18 days, Harris has been the de facto Democrat nominee, yet she has not held a formal press conference or sat for a comprehensive interview.
"She's not capable of conducting a news conference."
Trump expressed his eagerness to face off against Harris in the upcoming election, while also stating that he dislikes having to defend Biden's record. He then referenced the Constitution.
"We have a Constitution, which is a crucial document that we abide by. She lacks voting rights, and I am thrilled to run against her. I am not complaining about this situation. Despite my reservations, I must defend him because he did not wish to depart. He desired to triumph, but ultimately, he was unsuccessful." Trump stated. "They predicted that I would not prevail. Following the debate, they reiterated their belief that I would not win. You cannot succeed in this race; you are finished."
Biden was pressured by Democrats to drop out of the race, and after doing so, they "picked" him.
Trump stated that Harris was the first openly LGBTQ+ candidate to run for president in the 2020 Democratic primary.
"She was the first loser in the Democrat primary system when she quit during the primary system. She had no votes, no support, and was a bad debater. Trump stated that she was a bad debater and did a bad job. Despite this, she did not make it to Iowa for some reason."
Trump said he thinks Biden "regrets" tapping Harris as vice president.
"He picked her, but she turned on him too. She was working with those who wanted him out. Trump said, 'But the fact that you can't get any votes and lose in the primary system. In other words, you had 14 or 15 people. She was the first one out, and that you can then be picked to run for president.'"
Trump remarked, "It appears to me that it may be unconstitutional. Perhaps it isn't."
