Trump made several nominations on Thursday, days before his inauguration on January 20th.
Trump congratulated his picks in a series of posts on Truth Social on Thursday afternoon.
The nominees for the positions of secretary of the Air Force and secretary for trade and foreign agriculture affairs include a former test engineer of missile defense systems and a trade partnership CEO, respectively.
The Small Business Administration appointed Chris Stallings as its assistant administrator for disaster recovery and resilience.
As the director of the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency, Stallings will collaborate closely with Kelly Loeffler, the incoming small business administrator.
Trump wrote on Truth Social that Stallings and Loeffler will ensure a quick and capable government response to protect small businesses during disasters, which are vital to the economy.
Luke Lindberg was appointed as the U.S. undersecretary for trade and foreign agriculture affairs at the Department of Agriculture by Trump.
During his first term, Lindberg held the positions of chief of staff and chief strategy officer at the Export-Import Bank and received the Distinguished Service Award.
He currently serves as both the president and CEO of South Dakota Trade and a member of the board of directors for the National Association of District Export Councils.
According to its website, South Dakota Trade is a 501(c)(6) public-private partnership that facilitates international trade for the state.
Lindberg has been highlighted on Planet Chronicle and other media outlets for his expertise on global affairs and agricultural policy.
Trump stated on Truth Social that Lindberg would ensure American farmers and ranchers receive fair trade deals.
Troy Meink has been picked to serve as secretary of the Air Force.
According to Trump's post, Meink is currently serving as the principal deputy director of the National Reconnaissance Office and began his career as a KC-135 tanker navigator.
He later worked as a test engineer for missile defense systems.
"Troy will collaborate with our outstanding Secretary of Defense Nominee, Pete Hegseth, to make our Nation's Air Force the most potent and lethal in the world, as we maintain peace through strength. Well done, Troy!"
The Department of Agriculture appointed Dudley Hoskins as their undersecretary for marketing and regulatory programs.
According to Trump's post, he previously served as the chief of staff for marketing and regulatory programs and senior adviser to the secretary at the Department of Agriculture for four years, and currently holds the title of counsel on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry.
"Dudley will collaborate with Brooke Rollins, Trump's nominee for Secretary of Agriculture, to ensure American food is the safest and healthiest globally."
