Trump countered Harris' statement, asserting, "She claimed that individuals depart from her events. Individuals do not attend her rallies. There is no justification for attending."
"The former president stated that the people who attend are being bused in and paid to be there, and then shown in a different light. This, he claimed, prevents her from discussing that."
For years, Trump has attracted massive crowds at his rallies, with some events lasting up to four hours from the start of the pre-show to the end of Trump's speech.
Since becoming the Democrats' 2024 presidential candidate, Harris has attracted large crowds at her rallies, similar in size to those of President Biden. However, her speeches are shorter, typically lasting no more than a half an hour.
Before the debate, the Harris campaign released an ad to provoke Trump by using clips from Obama's criticisms of Trump during the Democratic National Convention.
Despite Trump's upcoming visit to Tuscon, DNC spokesperson Cameron Niven maintained that whatever Trump talks about tonight, it won't be about the concerns of Arizonans.
