Trump's border czar responds to House Dem's vow to oppose deportations.
Several Democrats have considered opposing the deportation drive.
Tom Homan, the incoming border czar, remains determined to execute President-elect Donald Trump's mass deportation plan in Chicago despite a Democratic congresswoman's warning to "be ready to meet the resistance."
"Review 18 USC 111 and 8 USC 1324 (iii) as instructed," Homan stated in an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital on Wednesday. "Let's do this."
Two laws were being referred to by him, one that forbids obstructing federal law enforcement officers and the other that prohibits the concealment or harboring of illegal immigrants from immigration officials.
He said, "Received the message. Please review these statutes and let's proceed."
This week in Chicago, Homan stated that Illinois Democrats should "come to the table" or "get the hell out of the way."
That comment sparked a fiery response from Rep. Delia Ramirez, D-Ill.
Tom Homan, be prepared to face resistance when you visit #IL03, a district that has been strengthened and empowered by immigrants.
"You may believe that Chicago should move out of the way of Trump's plans for mass deportation, but we intend to obstruct in every way possible."
Democratic officials and lawmakers nationwide, including Ramirez, have pledged not to cooperate with or resist the Trump administration's plans for mass deportations.
The mayor of Denver stated that he was open to being imprisoned due to opposition to deportations. In response, Homan declared that he would also imprison the mayor, citing the same laws as when he spoke to Fox Digital.
On Wednesday, he characterized Ramirez's opposition as an obstacle to the apprehension of public safety risks.
"Homan stated that President Trump and he have consistently emphasized in every interview that their top priority is public safety threats. Any elected official who fails to remove such threats from their communities, particularly if they are illegal aliens, is not fulfilling their duties. Their primary responsibility to their communities is to ensure their safety."
He stated that it was unacceptable for anyone to oppose the removal of public safety risks, and he found it astonishing that she advocated for more criminals, particularly in Chicago.
The administration will prioritize the bloodthirsty Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, which has spread across the country and has established a presence in Chicago along with other gangs, as per his statement.
"While not all criminals in Chicago are illegal aliens, many are. Therefore, we should not only remove them from our community, but also from the country."
"So, game on," he said.
