In New York City on Thursday, former President Donald Trump unveiled his economic plan, which includes reducing the corporate tax rate to 15% and establishing a "government efficiency commission" led by Elon Musk. He also pledged to make America more prosperous if he is reelected in November.

During a speech to The Economic Club of New York, Trump revealed the news.

The former president boasted about the robust U.S. economy during his first term, but criticized Vice President Kamala Harris' "Kamalanomics" and linked her to the economic downturn and inflation caused by the Biden-Harris administration's policies.

Trump stated that Harris's "radical left agenda" poses a "fundamental threat to the prosperity of every American family and America itself."

Trump declared that he was present to present his strategy for saving the country from its current predicament and restoring the American dream to its previous glory, with greater, better, and stronger outcomes.

Trump stated that he "fought for American workers as if they were his own family" during his presidency.

"I made sure to prioritize the well-being of our economy in every decision, just as I would my own business. I considered the impact on job creation and the country's overall strength and weakness. Trump stated, "I always put America first, and when our economy was threatened by the China virus, we were able to save it and preserve millions of jobs."

"Trump stated that he delivered an economic miracle, but Kamala and Joe turned it into an economic disaster, just like they turned the border and the world into a catastrophic surrender. On day one, Kamala launched a war on American energy and orchestrated a nation-wrecking border invasion with illegal aerial aliens pouring in from countries all over the world. Trump added that Biden and Harris formed the worst presidency in vice presidency, by far, in the history of our country."

Trump stated that this election will determine whether we grant Kamala Harris another term and continue with more crime, economic turmoil, and international embarrassment, or if we shift course and restore the prosperity that was achieved during the Trump administration.

Trump claimed that Harris' views on freedom are fundamentally different from his own and that she supports Marxism, communism, and fascism.

He stated that she is pledging communist policies such as price controls, wealth confiscation, energy destruction, reparations, the largest tax increase in history, and mass amnesty and citizenship for millions of migrants who will consume billions of dollars in federal benefits and ruin Social Security and Medicare.

"Trump declared that his plan would guarantee low taxes, minimal regulations, affordable energy costs, low-interest rates, safe borders, and a decrease in crime, resulting in an increase in incomes for all citizens, regardless of race, religion, color, or creed. He promised to rapidly defeat inflation, reduce prices, and stimulate rapid economic growth."

Trump claimed that Harris's plan would result in Americans losing money, but he asserted that his own plan would provide families with thousands of dollars more.

Trump vowed to put an end to Kamala Harris's anti-energy campaign and establish a policy that prioritizes energy abundance, independence, and dominance.

Trump declared that his plan would reduce energy prices by at least half within a year of being inaugurated.

Trump promised to issue a national emergency declaration to boost domestic energy production if elected.

Trump said Musk "has agreed" to lead that commission.
