Trump prioritizes loyalty when choosing allies and supporters for his administration.
The president-elect's 2nd administration will have a more unified and MAGA team, says a Trump ally.
President-elect Trump is swiftly gathering his second administration team, with a noticeable lack of interest in bringing in outsiders to his political circle.
The former and future president is seeking support from allies, loyalists, and other supporters of his MAGA movement and America First agenda, many of whom are well-known figures in Washington, D.C.
Unlike when he first took control of the White House eight years ago, the politician is no longer interested in establishment types or those who served in his first administration, as he believes they were disloyal.
"Trump praised Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, whom he has appointed as his ambassador to the United Nations, as a strong and intelligent America First fighter. He noted that she was the first Member of Congress to endorse him and has consistently been a staunch advocate."
Trump referred to former Rep. Lee Zeldin of New York, whom he intends to appoint as Environmental Protection Agency administrator, as a "true champion of America First policies."
It is predicted that the president-elect will appoint South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, a conservative and ardent supporter of the MAGA world, as the Homeland Security secretary.
Stephen Miller, the architect of the first Trump administration's hard-line policy on immigration and border security, will work with Noem as his incoming deputy chief of staff for policy.
The president-elect has appointed Thomas Homan, who was the acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement director during the first administration and was known for implementing controversial immigration policies, as his incoming "border czar."
According to Planet Chronicle, it is predicted that Trump will designate Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida as the secretary of state.
Despite being a competitor to Trump during the heated 2016 Republican presidential race, Rubio has since become a close ally of the president in the Senate.
The senator, recognized as a foreign policy hardliner who supports keeping U.S. alliances abroad, including NATO, has aligned with Trump on several major international disputes, including Russia's invasion of Ukraine and Israel's conflict with Hamas.
Trump appointed Rep. Michael Waltz of Florida as his national security adviser. Waltz, a former Army Green Beret, has been a loyal Trump supporter.
Dan Eberhart, a prominent Republican donor and bundler who raised big bucks for Trump's 2020 and 2024 campaigns, stated that Trump's current situation is vastly different from when he first won the White House eight years ago.
"Eberhart stated that Trump has a stronger mandate due to winning the popular vote and all seven swing states. He also believes that Trump knows what he wants and is skilled at getting what he wants from Washington. As a result, he expects Trump to have a more cohesive and MAGA team that can accomplish more."
The president-elect appears to be icing out those whom he feels have not shown their loyalty to him.
Trump revealed on social media that he would not invite Nikki Haley, who served as U.N. ambassador in his first administration, and Mike Pompeo, who was CIA director and later Secretary of State, to join his incoming cabinet.
In the 2020 Republican presidential primaries, Haley faced off against Trump and emerged as his final opponent in a contentious nomination battle.
Before deciding not to run for president in 2024, Pompeo seriously considered launching his own campaign.
Both politicians eventually endorsed Trump this year, following the primary season.
The president-elect is not relying on outsiders who were not Trump supporters for his transition team. Instead, he is surrounded by individuals who are loyal to him and will ensure that those appointed to his administration share his beliefs and agenda.
