Trump names Devin Nunes, Troy Edgar and Bill White as nominees.

On Saturday, President-elect Donald Trump appointed additional candidates to serve in different roles during his second term.
Devin Nunes was appointed as the chairperson of Trump's Intelligence Advisory Board, Troy Edgar was named as the deputy secretary of Homeland Security, and Bill White was chosen as the ambassador to Belgium.
If confirmed, Nunes will head the IAB, which advises the president on the legality of foreign intelligence activities.
Devin, while continuing his leadership of Trump Media & Technology Group, will draw on his experience as former Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and his key role in exposing the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax to provide me with independent assessments of the effectiveness and propriety of the U.S. Intelligence Community’s activities.
Trump also named Edgar as his pick for deputy secretary of Homeland Security.
Trump stated that Troy previously served as the Chief Financial Officer and Associate Deputy Under Secretary of Management for Homeland Security, where he excelled in managing their $90 Billion Dollar budget, resourcing critical immigration policy, and funding Wall construction.

Edgar will serve alongside South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, who was chosen by Trump to lead the Department of Homeland Security.
On Saturday afternoon, Trump announced that White would be the U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium.
As the founder and CEO of Constellations Group, a Manhattan-based consulting firm, and former president of the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum in New York, White has extensive experience in the consulting and museum industries.
Trump stated that Bill is a highly respected businessman, philanthropist, author, and advocate for our Nation’s Military, Veterans, and First Responders. He is the CEO of Constellations Group and former President of the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum.
"Bill has been relentlessly dedicated to aiding Great American Patriots who have sacrificed everything for our nation by raising over $1.5 billion dollars for our fallen heroes, catastrophically wounded, and severely burned Service Members. He has received the Meritorious Public Service Award twice, first from the U.S. Coast Guard for exceptional service, and second from the U.S. Navy for exceptional support."
Though White backed Obama and Clinton in past races, he was a major Trump donor and surrogate for his 2024 campaign.
The latest nominations made by the president-elect are part of a series of selections he hopes the Senate will endorse.
