According to reports, President-elect Donald Trump intends to issue approximately 100 executive orders upon taking office, although the exact number may vary slightly.
On Wednesday, Senate Republicans met with Trump, who will assume the presidency on Jan. 20.
On "Fox & Friends" on a Thursday morning, Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., stated that Trump revealed there are nearly 100 executive orders aimed at resolving problems such as border security and U.S. energy.
Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., stated to The Hill that he believes there could be 100 EOs.
According to two sources, senators received previews of some of the information they would receive about the 100 executive orders that were planned to be implemented on day one of the new administration. Stephen Miller, who has been appointed to serve in the new administration, discussed the plans for using executive authority to address border and immigration issues.
According to the Associated Press, Trump is preparing over 100 executive orders for his first day in office and had informed GOP senators about it during a meeting. "There will be a substantial number," Senator John Hoeven, R-N.D., stated.
