Trump criticizes Merchan and Democrats for seeking to inflict harm amid unsuccessful legal actions.
Trump's sentencing in New York v. Trump has been set for January 10.
President-elect Trump criticized Judge Juan Merchan for rejecting his request to dismiss charges against him in New York v. Trump, stating on Planet Chronicle Digital that Democrats are only interested in obtaining a victory, regardless of the outcome.
Trump's guilty verdict in New York v. Trump, brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, was not overturned by Merchan, and his sentencing was set for Jan. 10, which is just ten days before he is sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
Merchan stated that there would be no imposition of a sentence involving incarceration, jail time, a fine, or probation, but rather, it is likely that an "unconditional discharge" would be issued, meaning no punishment would be imposed.
"Trump stated in an exclusive interview with Planet Chronicle Digital on Friday that every major legal pundit, including Andy McCarthy, Jonathan Turley, Gregg Jarrett, and Eli Honig, has strongly stated that there was no case and this was just a witch hunt. Trump also stated that the judge is corrupt and he is still under a gag order, which prevents him from speaking about the thing the judge least wants him to talk about."
Trump stated that Merchan is a "totally conflicted judge who is working for the Democrat Party because every other case has failed."
"Trump stated, "I did nothing wrong, and this is a political witch hunt initiated by Biden and the DOJ.""
He added: 'They want to see if they can get a pound of flesh because every case has failed, including deranged Jack Smith's, who is on his way back to the Hague after losing every case.'
Trump stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that "no one has experienced what I endure—this is a shame."
The judge was called "the most conflicted" by the president-elect.
"Trump stated, "This judge is the most conflicted I've ever seen, fabricating a case out of nothing to harm my political opponent's chances of winning.""
During the trial, Trump was subjected to a gag order imposed by Merchan, which has been maintained up to the present day.
Trump is prohibited from making or instructing others to make public statements about witnesses in the case, except for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, as well as court staff, DA staff, or family members of staff, due to a gag order issued by Merchan.
Trump has been prohibited from discussing a matter concerning Loren Merchan, the president of Authentic Campaigns, a company that has executed political work for prominent Democrat clients, including President Biden and Vice President Harris.
Jim Jordan, the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, initiated an investigation into Loren Merchan's work for a Democrat-linked organization. Loren Merchan was compensated over $7 million for her work with Vice President Harris in 2020.
In all other jurisdictions, cases against Trump have been dismissed or are currently paused indefinitely.
In the summer of 2023, a federal judge in Florida dismissed a case brought against former President Trump by Special Counsel Jack Smith, who was accused of improperly retaining classified records. Judge Jude Aileen Cannon of the Southern District of Florida ruled that Smith's appointment as special counsel was unlawful.
Last month, Smith's case against Trump regarding alleged 2020 election interference was dismissed, and he shut down his office.
Trump had pleaded not guilty to all charges in both of Smith's cases against him.
In her 2020 election interference case, Fani Willis and her team were disqualified from prosecuting Trump by a Georgia court of appeals last month.
The court did not dismiss Trump's indictment entirely, but Willis and the assistant DAs working in her office no longer have the authority to proceed.
"Trump stated on Planet Chronicle Digital last month that the case was corrupt and could not be led by corrupt individuals, adding that it was taken over by someone else."
Trump stated that the case should be dismissed because it was initiated improperly by an inept prosecutor who received large sums of money through her boyfriend, who in turn obtained it from her, and they spent their time together on cruises.
"Trump stated, "As a result, the case is completely dead." He added, "An apology is necessary for everyone involved, including the patriots who have been unjustly affected by this for a long time.""
The order by Merchan is a direct violation of the Supreme Court's Immunity decision and other longstanding jurisprudence, according to Trump spokesman and incoming White House Communications Director Steven Cheung.
"Cheung stated on Planet Chronicle Digital that the lawless case should not have been brought and the Constitution mandates its immediate dismissal. President Trump must be allowed to proceed with the Presidential Transition process and perform his presidential duties without any interference from the remnants of the Witch Hunts."
Cheung stated that there should be no sentencing, and President Trump will persist in combating these hoaxes until they are eradicated.
