Trump and Harris have differing views on women's rights.
Senator Mike Lee stated that killing a full-term baby is not something one does with their body.
Vice President Kamala Harris asserted that former President Trump holds the belief that he has the right to decide how to handle his body.
Trump made comments about safeguarding women after accusing Harris of permitting criminals to enter the country illegally.
Trump stated that Kamala has imported criminals from prisons, jails, insane asylums, and mental institutions worldwide, including violent offenders who target women and girls. He added that anyone who allows monsters to abduct and murder children does not deserve to be near the Oval Office.
Trump's speech section that Harris shared did not contain, but began with Trump recalling how people advised him against speaking about protecting women, stating it was inappropriate.
Trump declared, "I will safeguard them regardless of their approval."
Trump continued his speech by stating that he would protect the country from migrants and foreign countries that want to attack with missiles.
In a post on X, Harris stated that Trump believes he should have control over individuals' body decisions, regardless of their preferences.
Kamala Harris euphemistically describes the act of dismembering and killing a full-term, unborn baby as 'what you do with your body,' according to Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah.
"Killing a full-term baby isn't something that you do with your body," Lee stated in a post. "The fact that we can't all agree on this basic point is deeply disturbing," he continued. "To be clear, most of us can and do agree on this – overwhelmingly," he added, claiming, "But Kamala doesn't."
Nick Freitas, a Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates, criticized Harris, stating, "You believe it's a good idea to permit abortion until birth for any reason. How disgusting is that?"
During the interview with Harris, Norah O'Donnell of "CBS Evening News" repeatedly asked the presidential candidate about her stance on abortion restrictions.
Harris stated, "We should reinstate Roe v. Wade."
"So you do support restrictions after viability?" O'Donnell asked.
Harris stated that she supports the reinstatement of Roe v. Wade by Congress and the restoration of women's fundamental right to control their own bodies.
Trump has said that he would veto a federal abortion ban.
"As Ronald Reagan did before me, I fully support the three exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother," he declared on social media.
