The White House and Armed Services Republicans refute allegations that Zelenskyy's PA visit was political.

Some Republicans, including Speaker Mike Johnson, have criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit to a U.S. Army ammunition plant in Scranton, Pennsylvania on Sunday as being partisan.
Johnson stated in a letter to Zelenskyy that the tour was a partisan campaign event aimed at assisting Democrats.
Officials from the White House and Pentagon informed Planet Chronicle that the visit was in response to a request from Ukraine to express gratitude to American workers who have increased ammunition production for Ukraine's defense against Russia.
Officials invited to the event were all Democrats, as it is standard practice to invite representatives from the district where the visit takes place.
According to a defense official who spoke to Planet Chronicle, all elected officials in the jurisdiction were Democrats.
Zelenskyy has only met with Republicans during his past trips because of the elected officials in the districts he visited.
In July of this year, Zelenskyy traveled to Utah to meet with Gov. Spencer Cox and the all-Republican Congressional delegation.
Senator Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) stated that if President Zelenskyy visited Mississippi, he would be accompanied by Republican officials because that is who the people of Mississippi elected.
In today's briefing, White House press secretary KJP revealed that the U.S. Army assisted in arranging the visit.
Jacqui Heinrich questioned KJP about this in the WH briefing earlier this afternoon-
