The IRS has received a complaint accusing the Planned Parenthood chapter of providing the Harris campaign with a workspace, potentially violating tax laws.

An IRS complaint filed by a pro-life organization alleges that a Planned Parenthood chapter in Florida violated its tax-exempt status by providing workspace for the Harris-Walz presidential campaign.
In December, Planned Parenthood Florida faced an IRS complaint from 40 Days for Life, a prominent pro-life organization. The complaint alleges that the organization has evidence of "potentially prohibited political activities" that could affect Planned Parenthood's tax-exempt status.
Planned Parenthood has committed numerous violations, as observed by 40 Days for Life CEO Shawn Carney, who stated, "We're physically at these abortion facilities, holding peaceful vigils and offering medical alternatives to abortion. As a result, we see a lot of things that Planned Parenthood does."
Planned Parenthood Florida did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's inquiries by the deadline.
"It was evident that they were distributing flyers promoting Tim Walz Tuesdays, despite the unappealing nature of the time, yet they were still promoting various events related to Walt Harris's campaign and utilizing their space for that purpose. However, as a 501c3 organization, they were not permitted to do the same for Republicans. This is a fundamental rule."
During the 2024 Democratic Party platform, abortion was highlighted as a central issue, with several speakers discussing it extensively on the first day of the Democratic National Convention. A separate complaint about Planned Parenthood's mobile abortion bus operating near the DNC was filed by Carney's group last summer.
The pro-abortion stance of the Harris-Waltz campaign did not resonate with voters, but after filing a complaint, we received a response from the Trump administration stating that they had received it. Now, we have two violations, both of which were politically motivated and targeted towards the Democrats, which as nonprofits, is unacceptable.
