On Monday, the Department of Defense (DoD) unveiled two weapons packages for Ukraine, amounting to $2.47 billion.
The Presidential Drawdown Authority package, valued at $1.25 billion, aims to enhance Ukraine's capabilities to address its immediate requirements, such as air defense missiles, rocket system munitions, and anti-tank weapons, according to the DoD's press release.
"The DoD announced a $1.22 billion Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) package to enhance Ukraine's air defense, air-to-ground, Unmanned Aerial Systems, and other capabilities to combat Russian aggression."
As the national debt exceeds $36 trillion, aid packages are being distributed.
The military's capabilities were detailed by the DoD, encompassing missile systems, missiles, munitions, ammunition, anti-armor systems, and medical equipment.
The Biden Administration's twenty-third USAI package and seventy-third tranche of equipment to be provided from DoD inventories for Ukraine since August 2021 is a statement.
"The US and 50 allies are working together to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression through the Ukraine Defense Contact Group and its associated Capability Coalitions."
