The Biden team claims that all negative videos of him are fabricated, but this assertion is not accurate.

The media's inability to distinguish truth from fiction has eroded Americans' trust in them.

I think I’ll do some trash-talking today.

Not my style, I know. But indulge me here.

The two candidates' negative campaigning tactics consume so much time and energy that it is impossible to cover the campaign without addressing their attacks, even when they are false or misleading.

According to his detractors, Joe Biden's "frozen" moment was when he was accused of being "out of it" and "wandering aimlessly."

On Sunday, the campaign released footage of the star-studded L.A. fundraiser that raised $30 million. Obama and Biden are seen waving to the crowd. Biden, 81, pauses for a moment and is overwhelmed by the deafening applause. He appears unharmed and is simply savoring the moment.

Obama's actions were inexplicable. Despite knowing that his former VP had been under attack as frail and confused, he took Biden's hand to lead him off the stage and kept his hand on the president's back as they walked.

No video distortion occurred during the recording. No one was required to watch it. All viewers could make their own judgments.

The Biden campaign and its media defenders are trying to make people believe that any video that portrays the president in an unflattering light is a "deepfake" or "cheapfake," as the Biden White House press secretary put it. However, these videos may not always be fake.

The New York Post mistakenly published a cropped photo of Biden staring into space at the G-7 summit, when he was actually engaged in a conversation with skydivers who had landed nearby.

The embarrassing moment on the Los Angeles stage was authentic and not staged.

The author of a new book who spent many hours interviewing Trump reports that the former president has a poor memory.

According to Ramin Setoodeh, co-editor-in-chief of Variety and author of a book on "The Apprentice," Trump has "severe memory issues."

"In 2021, we spent an hour together, and then I returned to the White House and Trump Tower to discuss his time in the White House. However, when I asked if he remembered our lengthy interview, he had a vacant expression on his face and replied that he had no recollection of it."

In a Washington Post excerpt, he writes that he keeps extending our time together, causing our follow-up appointments to spill over.

He typically ended our sessions with the phrase, "Okay, so why don't we do another meeting?"

"Our afternoons together always end unexpectedly, as there is always a chance that if things go really well, Trump might continue talking to me during dinner, and I might need to leave to escape from him."

Trump spokesman Steven Cheung, like his boss, responded harshly to Newsweek, stating that President Trump was aware of the individual throughout the interview process but considered them insignificant as they were a "nobody" writer. After recognizing the cultural impact of The Apprentice on a global scale, this "writer" has allowed Trump Derangement Syndrome to consume their brain, just like many other losers who obsess over President Trump.

The media should increase their efforts to distinguish between truth and falsehood, but most voters lack the time to watch a three-minute video and analyze multiple perspectives. They may only view a five-second clip or a single image.

Perhaps, despite the attacks, people will become indifferent and unsure about the media institutions that are already viewed with suspicion.

And that is a depressing thought.
