Swing state voters at Trump rally express anger over 'sham' conviction: 'Biggest scam ever'
Thousands were rallied in Las Vegas over the weekend by the former president.
Thousands of voters in Nevada attended a recent rally by former President Trump, expressing their support and anger over his "sham" conviction in a New York City court.
A multitude of individuals endured scorching temperatures in the desert for several hours to witness Trump's first rally following his conviction on 34 counts of fabricating business records.
"I have always been a Trump supporter. Despite my four years in the military, I did not witness any wars, and I believe he is the best choice for the United States. I found the trial outcome amusing and think it was a politically motivated witch hunt designed to stir up anger and division in the country."
Another supporter stated that he supported Trump because he believed he would offer more opportunities for Black and Hispanic individuals, who he believed faced greater challenges in accessing basic necessities such as housing and transportation. Additionally, he argued that the trial was unfair and that there was no equal justice between Republicans and Democrats.
One family member stated that they came to the rally to demonstrate their love for Trump and that they would continue to support him no matter what challenges he faced. Another family member added, "We need him back."
"We need him back. He was an amazing president," another agreed. "Our country needs him, plain and simple. We just need him back."
"Despite their efforts to prevent him from running for president, I will still vote for him, and in my view, the trial was a complete scam," one person stated, while another agreed, adding that it was "the biggest scam ever."
One supporter at the rally said they were there "to protest Joe Biden's destruction of the country" and that the "corrupt system" was exposed during Trump's "sham trial."
She initially wasn't a fan of Trump during his first term, but she now wants his changes back after experiencing President Biden. She also stated that the trial outcome was incorrect and that the justice system needs to be cleared up again when he returns to office.
"Anyone who doesn't understand that is not paying attention. All you need is a third-grade education to know that," one supporter stated.
Thousands of Nevadans gathered at Sunset Park, near the Las Vegas Strip, for a rally, with polls indicating that Trump leads Biden in Nevada by a wider margin than in any other battleground state Trump won in 2020.
A rally occurred shortly after a Planet Chronicle poll showed Trump leading Biden by five points (50%-45%) in a head-to-head matchup.
The lead remains stable at 45%-40% with the addition of independent presidential candidates Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (7%), Dr. Cornel West (2%), and Green Party candidate Dr. Jill Stein (2%).
