Republicans and Texas Gov. Abbott are accused by the White House of contributing to the migrant attack on Guard members and storming of the border.
On Thursday, over 100 illegal migrants broke through the razor wire in El Paso, Texas.
On Friday, the White House placed responsibility on Republicans and Texas Governor Greg Abbott for the response to the previous day's chaotic scene, where over 100 migrants were caught on camera breaking through razor wire to enter Texas.
Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary, was asked by Planet Chronicle White House correspondent Peter Doocy what President Biden believes should happen to adult men who are assaulting and overpowering U.S. National Guardsmen.
The Biden administration expressed gratitude that U.S. Border Patrol agents were able to control the situation in El Paso, Texas, before accusing Abbott of his strict border policies.
""Gov. Abbott's politicization of the issue made it challenging for them to do their job, but they were still able to succeed," she stated."

Senate Republicans were criticized by Jean-Pierre for not backing bipartisan border legislation that would increase resources to combat illegal immigration.
The New York Post published video footage of dozens of adult males tearing down razor wire set up by the state and charging past Texas National Guard members. They attempted to run towards a section of border wall but were stopped.
Doocy questioned whether President Biden would send reinforcements if the same scenario occurred anywhere else in the world, as the video depicted adult men attacking U.S. troops in uniform, rather than helpless women and children seeking safety.
Border agents apprehended everyone, but Jean-Pierre couldn't confirm if they were deported.
"The governor of Texas deployed the Texas National Guard there. We did not deploy them. He deployed them. What we require are genuine, practical solutions," she stated.
Abbott has taken a firm stance on illegal immigrants in his state. Currently, Texas is engaged in a legal dispute with the Biden administration over a law that criminalizes illegal immigration. Additionally, Texas has transported thousands of migrants to Democratic-leaning cities like New York and Chicago, and has increased security measures along its border with Mexico.
The surge in El Paso on Thursday is a direct result of the unsustainable chaos that President Biden has unleashed on the border, according to Abbott spokesperson Andrew Mahaleris.
"Texas will continue to employ every available tool and tactic to discourage and repel illegal crossings, as President Biden's open border policies entice migrants from more than 150 countries to make perilous and unlawful border crossings."
In February, the highest number of migrant encounters at the southern border was recorded, with a total of 189,922, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
In February, the Border Patrol caught 140,644 illegal immigrants, which is the second-highest number ever recorded by the agency, surpassed only by the 159,170 caught in February of fiscal year 2022.
