In November, Democratic Rep. Gwen Moore will confront the Republican candidate.
In November, Democratic Rep. Gwen Moore will face off against Republican Purnima Nath, who was defeated by Tim Rogers in a primary contest on Tuesday, in Wisconsin's 4th district.
Defeating Moore, who has held office since 2009 and won all of her re-election bids in landslide victories, will be an uphill battle for Rogers.
Nath emigrated from India and describes her work as management consulting.
Moore has consistently defeated Rogers in every election they've run against each other, with Rogers never receiving more than 23% of the vote.
In February, Moore was among the few Democrats in Congress who opposed a bill that increased the child tax credit in committee.
Milwaukee, the site of the Republican National Convention in July, is located in Wisconsin's 4th district, which is also Moore's hometown.
