Report: Oprah received $1 million from Harris for unsuccessful campaign assistance.
According to reports, Harris allegedly invested a substantial amount of money in the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast.
During her unsuccessful presidential campaign, Vice President Kamala Harris spent millions of dollars on various entertainers, including paying Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions $1 million.
On October 15, Winfrey's company received $1 million from the Harris campaign, following a September town hall featuring the vice president.
On the eve of Election Day, Winfrey endorsed a presidential candidate at Harris' final rally in Philadelphia.
"At the rally, Winfrey stated, "We are casting our ballots based on principles and sincerity. We are choosing reconciliation over animosity.""
The Washington Examiner report disclosed that the Harris campaign spent a substantial amount of money on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, in addition to Winfrey.
"According to a source close to the matter, the Harris campaign spent six figures on constructing a set for her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast with host Alex Cooper, which was recorded in October and took place in a hotel room in Washington, D.C."
On the eve of the election, the campaign spent up to $20 million on swing state concerns, according to a report in the New York Post.
On Monday, the campaign organized seven swing-state concerts, featuring performances by Jon Bon Jovi in Detroit, Christina Aguilera in Las Vegas, Katy Perry in Pittsburgh, and Lady Gaga in Philadelphia, as well as a 2 Chainz performance at an election rally three days prior.
According to Republican political strategist Brad Todd, speaking to the Examiner, despite the substantial expenditure of money, it cannot purchase love or a suitable candidate.
"Todd stated that while advertising is a significant source of information for swing voters, it is not enough. Even if the message is correct, it must be delivered in a compelling manner. The campaign lacked an effort to distance itself from the unpopular administration it has been associated with."
The Harris campaign declined to comment on a Planet Chronicle Digital request.
