Pollster reveals Harris's 'biggest weakness' in Pennsylvania survey where she leads Trump narrowly
Senior citizens are more likely to support former President Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris, according to AARP polling data.
As the presidential election in November nears, Pennsylvania remains one of the country's closest races.
AARP's new data shows that Vice President Kamala Harris leads former President Donald Trump by a narrow margin.
According to the survey, Harris has 49% of likely voters, Trump has 47%, and 3% are undecided.
A bipartisan team conducted the AARP poll using landline, cell phone, and text-to-web from Sept. 17 to Sept. 24.
According to AARP's response data, Harris's weakest area is interacting with senior citizens.
According to the data, seniors aged 65 years and older voted for Trump by seven points.
After Trump dropped out, Harris became the Democratic nominee and the gap between him and Biden narrowed.
According to an AARP survey, 50% of likely voters approve of Trump's performance as president from 2016 to 2020, while 49% disapprove of his job performance in the Oval Office.
As vice president, Harris has received approval from 45% of the public, while 52% disapprove.
An AARP survey conducted with 1,398 likely voters in Pennsylvania has a four-point margin of error.
The data included an over-sample of 470 likely voters aged 50 and above in the state, with a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
