Political Rhetoric, Failed Assassinations, and Scandals: Both Sides Engage in High and Low Tactics
Biden and Harris' rhetoric is causing Trump to be shot at, according to Trump.
It is a bizarre campaign filled with bullets and blame-shifting.
The campaign is filled with rumors, unfounded claims, exaggerations, and falsehoods.
Just ask your dog or cat.
The two attempted assassinations against a presidential nominee within six weeks are undeniably alarming. It is imperative that Joe Biden take immediate action and ensure the Secret Service provides Trump with the same level of protection as he would receive if he were president.
The agency should immediately shut down his West Palm Beach golf course while he plays. Golf courses are difficult to protect due to their large, flat surfaces with little cover. A Washington Post editorial agrees with me. Forgetting bureaucratic details, this is insane. If a sharp-eyed agent had not seen the gun barrel through the chain-link fence, the shooter, who has a criminal record, could have succeeded.
We don't want Trump to lose any more of his alleged nine lives.
Trump accused Biden and Harris of causing him to be shot at by a Florida gunman who was influenced by their rhetoric.
The Democrats have consistently portrayed Trump as a threat to democracy, a would-be dictator who attempted to steal an election and would never permit another one. The hostile media have significantly contributed to this portrayal, frequently comparing Trump to Hitler or Mussolini.
Trump has stated that his opponents pose a threat to democracy and have used law enforcement as a weapon against him for political purposes.
Since 2015, Democrats have been using a series of controversial statements made by Trump to attack him.
In my opinion, the media has rushed to move on from the second assassination attempt without giving enough time to fully understand the situation. However, the search for "motive" is ultimately a waste of time, as anyone who attempts to kill a presidential candidate for attention is inherently unstable.
According to JD Vance, the fact that nobody has attempted to assassinate Harris and Trump has survived two attempts suggests that the left should moderate their language and stop engaging in such behavior.
Vance has been vindicated in another way. Trump's false claim that "they're eating the dogs, they're eating the cats" was debunked after an influx of 15,000 legal Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio. Even Republican Gov. Mike DeWine called it a false "piece of garbage."
The accusation that Trump's running mate was responsible for the bomb threats that shut down schools and facilities for days is unfounded.
It was discovered that all the calls were made from another country with the intention of increasing tension in the Ohio town.
I had no intention of discussing unfounded rumors about Laura Loomer, a far-right conspiracy theorist who believes 9/11 was an inside job, as I don't believe someone who is self-described as an Islamophobe deserves more attention.
But now she’s hit back on her Rumble podcast:
I am being falsely accused by the media of having an affair with Donald Trump. This baseless claim is both disrespectful and malicious towards both Donald and Melania Trump. The media has gone too far with their lies.
If I were a leftist journalist and a Democrat, the media would be up in arms if the Republican media were doing this to a left-wing journalist.
"They're misogynists who are bullying a woman and attempting to Monica Lewinsky her."
Before Brown was San Francisco mayor, he and Harris had an open relationship in the 1990s, a decade after he had separated from his wife.
The latest statement from Hillary Clinton regarding politics is incomprehensible.
The former first lady, senator, secretary of state and presidential nominee is promoting her fourth memoir and attacked free speech in her first interview with Rachel Maddow.
She demanded criminal charges and civil penalties against Americans involved in spreading propaganda.
Who determines where to draw the line between aggressive advocacy and propaganda? Should we allow one administration's Justice Department to make these calls against politicians, activists, and journalists aligned with the other party?
The First Amendment's protection of free speech is being attacked.
