On Wednesday, Vice President Harris made a concession speech while Nancy Pelosi, the former House Speaker, looked somber and tearful.
On Wednesday afternoon, Pelosi was seen tearfully greeting Harris supporters at Howard University.
Pelosi appeared to be on the brink of tears in a somber photo, with watery eyes, while other images depicted her smiling and socializing at the event.
After a closely contested presidential race, Trump emerged victorious early Wednesday morning, leaving Harris to deliver his concession speech. Despite predictions of a close outcome, the magnitude of Trump's win caught everyone off guard.
During a speech in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this week, Trump insulted Pelosi by describing her as something that "starts with a B."
"The Republican candidate abruptly cut off his speech, saying, "It starts with a B, but I won't say it. I want to say it.""
During a recent MSNBC appearance, Pelosi accused Trump of experiencing "cognitive degeneration," a claim she has made before.
Pelosi claimed that voters must understand that the president's brain is deteriorating at an alarming rate and that they may be inadvertently voting for President Vance, which would be detrimental to the country.
The Trump campaign insulted Pelosi in a statement to Planet Chronicle Digital.
"Nancy Pelosi, a decrepit and corrupt politician, is the only thing deteriorating, according to Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt. She should return to the City of San Francisco, which she has destroyed, and never come back."
Pelosi's office did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment.
