The former presidents, including Bill Clinton, George W Bush, and their spouses, are set to attend the event, along with former President Obama.
Michelle Obama will not attend President-elect Trump's inauguration on Monday, marking her second absence in two weeks from gatherings of former presidents and their spouses, as she was also absent at Jimmy Carter's funeral last week.
The Jan. 20 inauguration event will see the attendance of former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, as well as their spouses.
According to a statement from the Office of Barack and Michelle Obama, shared with The Associated Press, former President Barack Obama is confirmed to attend the 60th Inaugural Ceremonies, while former first lady Michelle Obama will not attend the upcoming inauguration.
It is unclear why Michelle Obama is not attending Trump's inauguration.
On January 9, 2021, at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., former presidents Trump, Bush, and Clinton, as well as their spouses, attended the funeral of Jimmy Carter. Additionally, former President Barack Obama, Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, and former Vice President Mike Pence and his wife were present.
Bill Clinton, the former president, will attend the upcoming swearing-in ceremony, as confirmed by a source close to his schedule. Hillary Clinton, the former first lady, will also be present, according to a spokesperson. The Office of George W. Bush announced that he and his wife, Laura, will also attend the ceremony.
Despite their history of political animosity, Trump and Obama put aside their differences at Carter's funeral and chatted and laughed together.
The 2017 inauguration of President Trump was attended by all three former presidents and their wives, including Hillary Clinton, who lost the 2016 election to Trump. Carter also attended.
President Biden's inauguration in 2021 was not attended by President-elect Trump and former first lady Melania Trump.

Michelle Obama avoided the inauguration, while Melania Trump disclosed that she and her husband did not receive adequate information from the Obama administration about moving into the White House during the start of the first Trump administration in January 2017.
On Monday, the former first lady informed "Fox & Friends" co-host Ainsley Earhardt that she knows the locations of the rooms where they will be residing, as well as the procedures.
"The second time around, the transition is much different. This time, I have all the necessary information and plans, and I am ready to move in. I have already packed and selected the furniture that needs to go in."
The inauguration events will feature performances by Carrie Underwood, the Village People, and Lee Greenwood. Underwood, the 2005 "American Idol" winner, will be singing "America the Beautiful" and will be joined by the Armed Forces Choir and the United States Naval Academy Glee Club.
The spokesperson for the Trump-Vance Inaugural Committee informed Planet Chronicle Digital that Underwood will perform at the swearing-in ceremony for President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect Vance.
During Trump's rallies over the past year, the '70s disco group Village People have been a staple, with hits like "Y.M.C.A" and "Macho Man" being played.
The group has been scheduled to perform at one of Trump's inaugural balls and a rally he's holding in Washington the day before his inauguration.
The Associated Press reported that, along with Greenwood, opera singer Christopher Macchio is scheduled to perform during Trump's inauguration celebrations.
