President-elect Trump endorsed Mike Johnson for the House speakership, stating that he is a good, hardworking, religious man who will do the right thing and continue to win. Trump wrote on Truth Social Monday that the American people need immediate relief from the destructive policies of the previous administration and that Johnson has his complete and total endorsement.

Trump, while advocating for the GOP as "the Party of SENSE," issued a cautionary message to Republicans.

"We ran a successful campaign with minimal resources, leaving plenty of money over. In contrast, they ran an expensive campaign that backfired, resulting in a disaster. Let's not squander this opportunity."

Trump declared his victory in the 2024 Presidential Election as a "magnificent and historic" achievement, highlighting how he and Vice President-elect JD Vance won seven swing states, received 317 electoral college votes, and gained the popular vote by millions of voters. Trump also criticized the delay in California's certification of its election results, which took several weeks after Election Day.

The speaker's race in January could see between four to ten Republicans opposing Johnson, according to Planet Chronicle' projection following the recent government funding dispute.

The Republican Party faced divisions over immigration as Trump's DOGE co-leaders Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk advocated for H1-B visas to hire foreign specialized workers.

Despite Trump's victory in November, the Republicans maintain a slim majority in the House with a five-seat advantage.

On Monday, Trump repeated his claim that Kamala Harris' campaign spent millions on celebrity endorsements during her failed presidential bid.

The Republican campaign was praised as legendary, while the Democrats were criticized for their poor performance, having spent 2.5 billion dollars, some of which was used illegally to purchase endorsements.

Trump stated that Beyoncé received $11,000,000, Oprah got $2,000,000, and Reverend AL, a professional con man, received $500,000 for an "interview" with Kamala and Joe.

In November, Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mother, refuted rumors that her daughter received more than $10 million to support Harris at a Texas rally on Instagram.

Tina Knowles wrote that the lie is that Beyonce was paid $10 million to speak at a rally in Houston for Vice President Kamala Harris. In fact, Beyonce did not receive any payment for speaking at a rally hosted by Vice President Kamala Harris in Houston.

On Oct. 20, Harris sat down for a friendly interview with MSNBC host Al Sharpton, who is an open supporter of Harris and the Democratic Party. After her defeat by Trump, FEC filings revealed that the Harris campaign made two $250,000 donations to Sharpton's nonprofit organization in September and October. MSNBC later stated that it was unaware that Harris' presidential campaign paid $500,000 to Sharpton's National Action Network. Planet Chronicle' Chad Pergram and Joseph A. Wulfsohn contributed to this report.
