Joe Rogan Reveals Harris Team Sought 'Restrictions' for Potential Interview
Nearly 3 hours, President-elect Donald Trump conversed with Rogan.
Joe Rogan disclosed more information about his failed attempt to interview Vice President Kamala Harris prior to the election.
"Rogan stated on a Friday episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience" that there were some restrictions on topics they didn't want to discuss, but he replied, "I don't give a f---, get her in here." He added, "Like, whatever you want to talk about.""
Podcast host Joe Rogan endorsed President-elect Donald Trump the day before the election, a rare political endorsement from a popular podcast host.
In late October, Trump was interviewed by Rogan on his podcast for nearly three hours, and later, Rogan interviewed billionaire Elon Musk, who became a key Trump ally during the campaign's final stretch.
Despite efforts to have Harris on his show, the podcast host was unable to secure an interview with the Democratic presidential candidate. On Friday, he admitted that he would have discussed any topic to get to know her better.
"I am confident that there is someone inside, and I believe I can reach them," Rogan stated. "I would greatly enjoy discussing various topics with her."
Rogan had previously expressed the possibility of a last-minute meeting with Harris before Election Day, but those plans were canceled when her team requested that Rogan travel to her for a one-hour interview.
"On the day before the election, Rogan stated that the Harris campaign had not ruled out doing the podcast. They had proposed a date for Tuesday, but Rogan would have had to travel to her location, and they only wanted to do an hour. Rogan strongly believed that the best way to do it was in the studio in Austin."
Rogan expressed his desire to simply have a pleasant conversation and learn more about her as an individual. He sincerely hoped that it would be possible to make it happen.
Rogan disclosed that he was approached by Harris' team about editing the show, which he refused to do.
Rogan stated, "They inquired about editing, to which I responded, 'There will be no editing whatsoever. No editing will take place.' We won't be editing."
Rogan, with 14.5 million followers on Spotify and 17.6 million on YouTube, stated that he was simply seeking a conversation with Harris, as he believes you can learn a great deal about someone in just a few hours.
Rogan stated that he wanted to have a conversation and felt that after spending a few hours with someone, he could observe their thought process, how they handle ideas, and whether they are calculated or carefree.
The Harris campaign declined to comment on a Planet Chronicle Digital request.
