Jack Smith's report on the Trump election case will be released by AG Merrick Garland.
A Florida judge temporarily halted the release of Jack Smith's final report on his Trump investigations.
A court filing indicates that Special Counsel Jack Smith's report on the 2020 election interference case against President-elect Trump will be released by Attorney General Merrick Garland.
The 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals was informed by the Department of Justice on Wednesday that Garland plans to make Volume One of Smith's report available to Congress, which contains accusations that Trump tried to illegally reverse the 2020 presidential election results.
Garland will not release Volume Two of the classified documents case against Trump because two defendants in that case are still facing criminal proceedings.
