Inauguration Day in DC streets: 'Today marks the beginning of a new era'

On Monday, the streets of Washington, D.C. were filled with excitement as people from all over the United States gathered to mark the beginning of President Trump's second term.
Despite the cold weather, many Trump supporters expressed optimism and hope for the future of America under the new Trump administration, as reported by Planet Chronicle Digital.
A group of women from South Georgia, wearing star-spangled hats and "Make America Great Again" scarves, were standing near the U.S. Capitol and declared it a happy day.
Tanya Garrett, one of the women, exclaimed, "It's incredible to be free once more."
Another woman named Angela Anderson exclaimed, "Today is a day of freedom!"
Anderson stated that she thinks the Trump administration will restore "America's respect."
"She stated that it is one of the greatest things, as we will gain respect from other countries, prosper, ensure safety on our borders, and respect the people we should have."
The majority of Trump supporters interviewed by Planet Chronicle Digital stated that the most crucial action the new president should take is to swiftly reverse the harm inflicted by the Biden administration by fortifying the southern border, revitalizing the economy and American energy, and demonstrating American might against the country's adversaries.
"Rachel Quy, who traveled from Atlanta and was standing outside Union Station, said, "I am extremely thrilled. I am a Vietnamese American and I strongly oppose communists. Many of us who are anti-communist hope that Trump can put an end to this or at least weaken them so that we can make America stronger.""
The festivities commenced at 10 am in a pub situated near the Capitol, with patrons erupting in applause and cheers as they watched Trump exit St. John's Episcopal Church on television.
"Jeff, a Trump supporter who traveled from Alaska for the inauguration, stated that many changes will occur. He emphasized that immigration would be a significant issue, and he intended to bring things back to America and businesses. According to Jeff, this marks the beginning of a new era, which he is excited about."
Another Trump supporter named Will, who was seated nearby, declared that he had never experienced the same level of excitement for any other president.
He said, "Being from Oregon, a blue state, it's great to be surrounded by like-minded individuals."
Supporters gathered on Pennsylvania Avenue, anticipating the arrival of Trump and his motorcade en route to Capital One Arena.
Philip Swinson, a construction business owner from Southern California, stated that they were performing better under Trump and were thrilled about another four years. His father and business partner, Brad Swinson, stood by him.
"I am nearly 72 years old and will remember Biden as the worst president of my lifetime," said Brad. "We value freedom, the Constitution, and free enterprise, which the Democrats and deep state appear to be opposing. People can see through this."
There has been a noticeable change in community energy, with an increasing number of individuals openly supporting Trump and his agenda.
