President Trump stated that a wave of change is taking place in the country during his inaugural address on Monday. He expressed his optimism that the U.S. is entering a new era of success, while declaring that the country's decline has come to an end.

On Monday, Trump spoke to the nation after being inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States.

"Trump declared in his inaugural speech that America's golden age has started. From now on, our country will prosper and regain global respect. We will become the admiration of all nations and will no longer tolerate being taken advantage of."

Trump stated that he would always prioritize America's interests during his administration.

Trump promised to restore safety, rebalance justice, and put an end to the unfair and violent use of weapons by the Justice Department and government. He also vowed to create a proud, prosperous, and free nation as his top priority.

Trump vowed not to utilize the government to target political adversaries, citing his personal experience with being targeted by the Biden administration.

""We must first acknowledge the challenges we face, but they will be overcome by the great momentum currently happening in the United States of America," Trump stated."

In his first address to the nation as the 47th president, the president stated that our government faces a crisis of trust.

Trump stated that his recent election is a mandate to completely and totally reverse the many betrayals that have taken place, and to give the people back their faith, wealth, democracy, and freedom from this moment on, America's decline is over.

Due to an arctic blast that hit the nation's capital, the president delivered his remarks from the Capitol Rotunda Monday, with frigid temperatures forcing the inaugural ceremonies to be moved indoors for the first time in four decades.

Trump, having won the Electoral College and popular vote, defeated Kamala Harris in a landslide and vowed that his second administration will bring the "golden age of America."

In July 2024, Trump was running against then-President Biden, who was seeking re-election. However, after the two debated for the first time and Biden had a poor performance, Democrat insiders pressured him to suspend his presidential bid.

Biden announced on social media that he endorsed Harris as the Democratic presidential nominee, effectively making her the vice president.

After the Republican National Convention (RNC) ended, and Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, formally accepted the GOP nomination, Biden decided to drop out of the race.

On July 13, just before accepting the Republican nomination, Trump survived an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. While displaying a chart on illegal immigration under the Biden-Harris administration, he was shot by Thomas Matthew Crooks, who died from his injuries.

In September, another would-be assassin concealed himself in the bushes at Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida. The gunman, Ryan Wesley Routh, aimed an AK-47-style rifle at Trump as he was playing golf. Trump was escorted off the golf course by U.S. Secret Service agents, unharmed.

Trump contemplated his close call and the unprecedented challenges he faced during the 2024 campaign.

""In the past eight years, I have faced more tests and challenges than any president in our 250-year history, and I have learned a great deal. The path to restoring our republic has not been an easy one, and I can attest to that. Those who seek to halt our mission have attempted to take my liberty and, in fact, my life. Just recently, in a picturesque Pennsylvania field, an assassin's bullet pierced my ear," Trump stated."

He added: "I believe now more than ever that my life was saved for a purpose. I was saved by God to make America great again."

On his first day in office, Trump is predicted to implement over 200 executive actions, with a focus on border security, energy, reducing expenses for American families, and eliminating DEI initiatives across the federal government, as reported exclusively by Planet Chronicle Digital.

Trump will fulfill his campaign pledge to reverse his predecessor's policies on his first day in office. He will end "catch and release," halt offshore wind leases, scrap the electric vehicle mandate, dismantle the Green New Deal, withdraw from the Paris climate accord, and take significant actions to assert his control over the federal bureaucracy.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
