The Democratic National Committee purchased full-page ads in 25 newspapers on Wednesday as part of its campaign to persuade voters in crucial battleground states and make its final argument against Donald Trump.

Exclusively with Planet Chronicle Digital, full-page spreads were purchased in 25 suburban and exurban newspapers across the country.

There are five newspapers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia; four newspapers in Wisconsin; and six newspapers in North Carolina, Arizona, and Nevada.

The message that Democrats are conveying through their ads is that Donald Trump is "unhinged, unstable," and "unfit to lead" in a second term, as stated in their final, "most important" interview ahead of Election Day.

The DNC's ads aim to convey to voters that the election is a clear choice between Donald Trump's message of chaos, retribution, revenge, and division, and Kamala Harris's message of being president for all Americans, building an opportunity economy, and showing a new way forward.

The DNC will argue that Trump's "chaotic and reckless record" and "pursuit of unchecked power" will be advanced if he is re-elected in November.

DNC Chair Jaime Harrison stated that the presidential race's outcome will be determined by razor-thin margins, and the paid media campaign is aimed at reaching voters who could influence the election's result, which is the most crucial of our lifetimes.

The newspapers chosen provide insight into the competitive regions on the map that Democrats are focusing on in the lead-up to Election Day.

The DNC is ready to intensely battle for the 93 electoral votes in seven battleground states to aid in electing Harris in a close election.

Planet Chronicle reported that Lau stated the papers were selected to attract voters outside of typical major media markets in big cities.

To ensure that we reach the exurbs and suburbs, we must focus on areas like Macomb County in Michigan, La Crosse in Wisconsin, and Yuma in Arizona, given the close race and high stakes, as Lau stated.

"These are places that we're not going to cede ground."

With less than a week until the election, it's uncertain how many undecided voters in key swing states will be persuaded, particularly in regions where both the Trump and Harris campaigns have already invested substantial resources and implemented extensive get-out-the-vote initiatives aimed at increasing voter registration and attracting voters in contested districts.

The DNC ran paid advertisements in print newspapers to appeal to rare voters through a trusted, local news source.

Several major news outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, and USA Today, have announced they will not be endorsing a presidential candidate in the 2023 election, causing outrage and cancellations from some readers.

""We knew that this race would be close, and the seven battlegrounds would come down to the final stretch. However, the infrastructure we've built and the energy and enthusiasm in our grassroots base will help us win," Lau said."

Lau stated that the closing argument would be strong and would help propel them across the finish line.
