Harris made a mistake by choosing Walz instead of Shapiro for VP, according to Cruz.
Pennsylvania voters approve highly of Shapiro.
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for not supporting Israel, claiming that her choice not to select Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro as her running mate was due to her giving in to the "pro-Hamas" faction within the Democratic Party.
"During a Planet Chronicle interview, Cruz stated that the reason Cruz did not choose Josh Shapiro as her VP was because the Democratic Party could not accept a Jewish candidate."
On the eve of the election, Cruz made his final comments, while Harris and Trump made their final pitches in the seven battleground states that will determine the outcome of the race.
Pennsylvania and Michigan are two battlegrounds where Vice President Harris has struggled to assemble a winning coalition, Cruz pointed out, highlighting that she has attempted to placate Jewish voters in Pennsylvania despite the administration she serves in being the "most anti-Israel" in American history.
"Kamala Harris is lying to people in Pennsylvania, and we know that because she's not just some random person off the street, she's been the sitting vice president for four years," Cruz said. "Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have been the single most anti-Israel administration this country has ever seen."
In Pennsylvania, the polling average from Real Clear Politics indicates a very close race in the final days of the election, with Trump currently leading by a mere 0.3 points in this crucial battleground state.
The odds for winning Pennsylvania in the race are close, with ElectionBettingOdds.com giving Trump a 53.5% chance and Planet Chronicle Power Rankings classifying the state as a toss-up.
If Harris had chosen Shapiro, he could have helped her win the key state on Sunday, as he currently enjoys positive approval ratings among voters in his state.
Cruz stated that if Shapiro had won Pennsylvania, the pro-Hamas wing of the Democrat Party would not have been able to accept it.
The Harris campaign declined to comment on a Planet Chronicle Digital request.
